If your question isn’t answered here please ask for assistance on the contact page
Q1. Can I use the same registration code on two computers ?
Yes. Each registration code allows you to register and use the software on up to two computers at any one time.
If you wish to use the software on more than two computers at a time please purchase further registration codes.
Q2. Can the software tell me when somebody has won and stop the game automatically ?
No, it’s up to the player to call bingo and stop the game.
Q3. I have some ‘shutter’ type cards, can I use them with this software ?
Yes. The serial numbers must be between 1 and 30000 and you must enter the data manually. Once you have entered the data for your cards the software will treat them the same as printed cards, so it can display them and auto check them for a win. You can even mix them with software printed cards if you wish.
Q4. Will the registration code I purchased for an earlier version work with Stateside Bingo Version 5 ?
No, the registration code you have is only suitable for one particular version. So for example a V4 code is only suitable for version 4 of the software, a V5 code is only suitable for version 5 of the software etc.
A new code needs to be purchased to use the latest software.
See the update policy (click the Update Policy tab above).
Q5. I need to reformat my computer. Can I make a backup of the card data, session manager data, voice files and custom patterns that I have created and any other files the software has generated ?
Yes. Look in the Stateside Bingo folder and copy any folders you require to your backup device. When you re-install the software make sure you enter your registration details before copying your saved files back to their correct location.
Q6. Can I use ready made bingo paper with Stateside Bingo Version 5 software ?
You can use ready made paper if you wish but the automatic card verification will only work with cards that are printed using the software. Ready made cards will have to be checked manually.
Q7. Can I print cards on one computer but use a different computer to call the bingo ?
Yes. From version 5 the cards are built in to the software so you can print on one computer, call on another computer and the cards can still be auto-verified.
Q8. How many cards can I print ?
The maximum amount is 30000 cards.
Q9. Do you guarantee that all 30000 cards will be different ?
Yes. All 30000 cards built in to the software have been checked and there are no repeats.
Q10. Do I need to have the .NET framework 3.5 installed ?
Yes the framework needs to be installed. When you install Stateside Bingo the installer will check your computer for you and prompt you to download it (from Microsoft) if you don’t have it, or you can download it with the .NET framework included.
Q11. Can I mix standard, large and extra large cards ?
Yes, which makes this software ideal for players with some visual loss as well as those with good eyesight. You can even mix your shutter cards in too.
Q12. What resolutions does Stateside Bingo Version 5 support ?
I recommend 1024*768 or higher. Users with a lower resolution will see that the tabs on the interface will be shown on the right hand side (this is to fit most modern Netbook screens).

Don’t worry, it’s not as complicated as it sounds.
You may have it installed already without you knowing (other programs may already be using it).

If you didn’t find it on your list you will need to install it before you can use the bingo software.

This will install all the necessary files for you when you install the bingo software. This is the best option if you are installing onto a computer that doesn’t have an internet connection. Go to the downloads page.
3. You can use Windows Update.
4. You can download it separately and install it yourself. See the Microsoft site here
Installing the software onto a computer that doesn’t have an internet connection
If the computer you want to install the bingo onto doesn’t have an internet connection it’s recommended that you download the software with the .NET framework included.
Burn the downloaded file to a CD or DVD or copy it to a memory stick and install it from the disc/stick. All the necessary files will be included.
